German Preparation Course
Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz
Mainz, Germany
September, 2021 - June, 2022
I just graduated from my high school in my hometown, Shanghai, China. I’ve learned the German language for 3 years and have decided to study in Germany. Therefore, I went to Mainz for a one-year German preparation course with some of my friends, and my best wishes for my future as well.
August, 2022 - January, 2026
I major in Business Administration because I want to know how a corporation operates and what the market looks like. Unlike many of my peers, who are interested in pursuing careers in banking or investing, I am more interested in administrative roles within large companies. Preferably in my area of interest, i.e. entertainment, education, and so forth. Nevertheless, learning everything is never wrong. I never regret choosing this major, not to mention Uni Mannheim is the leader of BA in Germany.
B.Sc. Business Administration (German: BWL)
University of Mannheim
Mannheim, Germany
My first going back home after coming to Germany. Summer in Shanghai is always full of scorchers. In addition to hanging out with old friends, and traveling around, I also finished my first internship in my entire life. I got familiar with how a company functions and how different departments cooperate. Doing market research, analysing advertisement performance, translation, making videos… Tasks assigned to me were various and basic, yet still challenging to a student.
Intern Business Developement - Xcelerator
Siemens AG
Shanghai, China
June, 2023 - August, 2023
October, 2023 - April, 2024
Intern Business Development - DSC MEE
SAP SE
Walldorf, Germany
Eventually, my first internship in Germany. This internship focuses on areas I'm passionate about, such as creating videos and digital marketing. However, this will all be done in a traditional German company. I'm grateful for this opportunity, especially since German is not my native language. From this experience, I've learned about how German people collaborate and how German companies are managed.
Summer School, Introduction to Data Science
Copenhagen Business School
Copenhagen, Denmark
June, 2024 - July, 2024
Spent a lovely summer in Denmark. It was my first time travelling abroad alone, and I stayed at CBS for one month, where I learned R, a data programming language. I made this decision to prepare for my future career in digital marketing and to explore different parts and cultures of Europe. It was the right choice, as I fell in love with the summer in northern Europe.
August, 2024 - December, 2024
Exchange Semester
National University of Singapore
Singapore
The exchange semester in Singapore is similar to the unique tropical climate here. I encountered a blend of Asian and Western cultures, which created unforgettable memories. In addition to exploring the city and nearby countries, I also took a Python course and studied the psychological part of consumer behaviour etc. at NUS, broadening my knowledge in every aspect.
